{S}=Stock Item ...Stock Items have a generic (stock) image with the listing and you more than likely will not receive the stamp pictured. The centering in the description should show FVF/VF. All stock items are gauranteed to be in very good to excellent condition and the centering will be Fine Very Fine to Very Fine. {P}=Only One Available ...Premium Items - These are one of a kind items. The image listed with the item will be of the item you will receive. This symbol is used for stamps that are older and stock on hand is limited or ADMEStamp.com only has one of that stamp, plate number block, or sheet, etc. to sell. Premium items will normally carry a higher price than like Stock Items. Condition and centering should be included in the description, as well as any faults should be listed. Do not order more than one of these items marked as Premium. If you do, and there are other like items in stock, you will be sent the second item, of ADMEStamp.com's choosing, regardless of the centering, etc., at the Premium Price. {H}=Hinged ...Hinged Items - This designation is used only with "P", Premium items. These are items that have been hinged at some time. If the hinge has been removed completely the item description will have an "HR" after MINT HINGED. If there is a partial hinge attached to the item, this should be noted in the description, also. {U}=Used ...Used Items - These are items that have been used as postage and have some sort of cancellation mark on them. Older stamps, primarily, 19th Century stamps, may have one of a variety of different cancellation marks. Most mordern stamps are machine cancelled and "Stock" "Used" items will be very light to light cancelled, unless otherwise noted in the description. |
